1-YEAR COURSE

e Postgraduate Diploma in Legal and Forensic Science is a one-year programme designed to combine legal knowledge with forensic science techniques. It equips students with the skills required for modern criminal investigation, evidence analysis, and legal procedures. e course provides a strong foundation in criminal law, forensic methods, and scientific investigation, preparing students for careers in law enforcement agencies, forensic departments, and legal practice.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants seeking admission to the P.G. Diploma in Legal and Forensic Science must have completed:

B.A. LL.B., LL.B., or any other law degree from a recognized university in India with at least 48% marks,

B.Sc./M.Sc. with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

Examination Scheme

The programme follows an annual system over a duration of one year. Each paper carries 100 marks and has a duration of 3 hours. To pass, a candidate must obtain at least 40% marks in each individual paper & minimum 48% marks in aggregate. e course must be completed within the same academic session in which admission is taken.
